This modpack aims to bring an enhanced experience to the vanilla CoC. It combines a multitude of smaller addons into a simple install. All credited to the awesome CoC modding community.
It brings together the great mods from the CoC community, some of those included are: Arsenal Overhaul + Outfit Addon, DrX Dynamic Factions and Questlines, TRX A-Life and sounds. Plus many more smaller addons.
REDUX MODPACK 1.0 BETA PART 2 [CoC 1.4.22]
Overview
- The REDUX mod pack was inspired mainly by 'The Zone Revisited' and 'Discovery Zone'.
- This modpack is aimed at those that are new to S.T.A.L.K.E.R modding as it plans to enhance the basic CoC experience with a simple install.
- This is not a hardcore stalker experience but very similar to the original vanilla CoC with minor changes.
- Recommended to play on Master Difficulty with simple animations turned on. Works well with IRONMAN mode.
- If you want to experience DrX questline and LtTZ-storyline then DO NOT check 'story mode' when starting a new game.
- Recommended starting factions for LtTZ-storyline: Loners, Clear Skies, Duty, Freedom, Mercs
- If you want to add anymore mods to this load order feel free to do so with a word of caution. Game might become more unstable. SO BACK IT UP!
- This is my first ever mod. So any feedback or help is much appreciated.
Installation
1. Download and extract Call of Chernobyl 1.4.12 into your local directory. Moddb.com
2. Download and extract Call of Chernobyl 1.4.22 PATCH into the directory in STEP 1. Overwrite when asked. Moddb.com
3. Download and extract CoC 1.4.22 REDUX 1.0 BETA PART 1 into the directory in STEP 1, just the gamedata. Overwrite when asked. Moddb.com
4. Download and extract CoC 1.4.22 REDUX 1.0 BETA PART 2 into the directory in step 1 both gamedata and fsgame.ltx. Overwrite when asked.
5. Download and extract REDUX 1.2 Patch into the same directory in step 1. Overwrite when asked. Moddb.com

Change Log
1.0 BETA
Economy was slightly changed. Prices have generally increased across all traders.
Faction relation for ecologist was changed. So now they will remain neutral to all factions besides monolith and bandits throughout the entire playthrough.
This is to ensure that LtTZ-storylines would not fail if your faction declares war with the ecologist.
Heavy Pockets achievement now unlocks at 150k. This is to ensure that you will have access to all the gear without the grind.
Known Issues
If you are not playing on maximum setting for graphics it may cause your scopes and binoculars to bug out.
Scopes and bino will appear in top left of a black screen.
If you have the population factor at 1 or 1.5 it will cause more CTD when loading into truck cemetery. Maybe that's just me...
If you set the population factor to 1 or 1.5 before you start a new game, it may cause CTD. I was running a population factor 1 stalker and 0.5 mutants.

Loving the mod but for whatever reason the game is crashing when I try to talk to the gatekeeper and do the quest with him
Thanks for the support. Do you have stalker and mutant population set to 1 or higher, that could be the problem. Can you post the error log, will be more helpful in narrowing the problem down.

Hi, have been playing this for a couple of weeks, a few hours a week and the only two issues so far beside the occasional random CTD is that I cannot get into the Truck Cemetery no matter which entrance I use, it just does a CTD after trying to load. The other is that when I talk to the Gatekeeper and my character says, "Great I guess I'm on my own," then I hit enter, when Gatekeeper says "I guess so" or whatever, it immediately does a CTD. I guess talking to him is not critical to completing the game (nor is the Truck Cemetery) but its a shame. Been playing Stalker for well over ten years in various incarnations and mods while waiting for 2.0 to come out (cursed war in real life), and this one had a pretty good balance of weaponry, making it tough enough for me. thanks!
