Commanders,
The scope of Side Ops is now global, stretching from the Bering Strait, all the way around the globe, to China.
It took a little longer than I hoped... but it's done.
Time for a brew. So what now?
I have no future projects in mind, but I will be going back and looking at my earlier maps and applying what I've learned to improve them. This has no time scale and shouldn't substantively change a mission, just polish it up a bit.
The latest 6 missions have been the most challenging, testing the limits of my skill, the engine, and my creativity! I'll release the little bits of data I wrote to change units to be the GLA and 1930's units - something I wasn't sure was possible when I had the idea, but seems to work ok :)
As always suggestions for how to improve, or ideas for future works, are always appreciated.
Have a good one,
GotAPresentForYa
I've had a great time with all these missions, thanks for making these. :D
Thank you! You're welcome :)
Can you play those on the C&C Remaster version? If not maybe that would be your next project? LOL Anyway thanks a lot for your great work, gonna try it for sure.
Absolutely :)
Champion, its been a delight to play through
Thank you!
Congrats!
Thank you very much :)
Excellent package of missions. Thank you so much for making them. That second last Allied mission is tough!
Thank you! You're welcome :)
Which one? Perimeter Security? Yeah, it's a doosey :P
No, it's called Vanguard I think. Any tips on how to survive the initial onslaught?
AH, yes. You should have a decent amount of forces left over if you can preserve them as you enter the first base. Are you playing on hard mode?
Hey man, did you get through it ok? Let me know if you'd like any more help - would be gutted if you weren't having fun with it :)
