About a month ago, we released a video of what's new in the modification (some of it may not be up to date from what it is now)
New weather
So let me start by saying that we replaced CGIM 2 with G.S.W.R weather. At the same time, we started working on optimising the mod to make it work as well as possible
At the moment, the weather is working stably with our changes and most likely if there is no problem with it we will stay with G.S.W.R permanently
Swamps from A.R.E.A.
In order not to prolong the work on the alpha version, we decided to temporarily use Swamps from the A.R.E.A modification and the vegetation from Dark Flora. After the release we will start working on our textures.
New engine features
Dead Sky uses the x64 engine from Clear Sky Multiplayer Overhaul. Thanks to the support of the creator of this mod, we now have quite a few new features in the engine
- 3D PDA
- SSR, SSS, Gloss factor, Colour presets and colour saturation
- Rain drops on mask and mask wipe
- Food drugs and drinks animations
We used animations from The Chernobyl Ordinance

Reworked Icons
The icons have been reworked and have also been enlarged to look better in the game
