Load this at the bottom of your load order after any gun mods. If a gun doesn't work you may have conflicts with something you've installed.

I've been working on this for a few months now and decided to upload it to MODDB. The main thread is on the GAMMA discord along with a few other patches for various gun mods.
Currently this adapts all guns that drop in GAMMA to 3D shader scopes. along with a few more that are being planned to be added soon. Thanks to PARTY_50 for giving me some textures to start the scope work with and helping me expand some of the functionality of the original mod. The shaders in this mod are edited from the original with his help. Various scopes were given secondary mark switch toggles and NVGs were given a toggleable state so that they are not always on. The hope with how these scopes are setup is that they bring some balance to the way long distance battles work. No longer do scopes infinitely zoom. Instead scopes now range from 1x to 12x, relative to a FOV of 90. This mod also fixes the terrible BaS pip scopes, including the PKA, making it actually usable and not just spare loot to be sold.
This is the latest up to date version that I have posted on the GAMMA discord. HUGE thanks to the LEWD crew for also allowing me to include their script which allows scopes to have a reflective lens instead of the black void. I am in the process of adapting all scopes for this script. Only snipers are done for now and I will update as more guns are finished.
Since this is built for GAMMA, this is 100% compatible with vanilla GAMMA. if you add any weapon mods on top there may be a patch in the GAMM A discord for it (depending on if I use that mod or not). This will not work correctly on EFP or any other mod pack without some changes. Feel free to use any of the models here if you don't use GAMMA and want to adapt them for use elsewhere, however I cannot promise they will work correctly and I will not be trouble shooting anything outside of GAMMA.

UPDATE 5/6/24 - Finished almost all scopes at this point with the updated lens hiding script. The only ones left are belt fed LMGs as getting the lens to work on those is a bit more involved. I'll be putting those to the side for now to update other 3DSS mods found on the GAMMA discord. Various other positions were adjusted since I pretty much did a revision of all scopes to make sure the lenses worked correctly on each model.
UPDATE 5/7/24 - Fixed a few crashes associated with some guns.

It’s a current limitation of the 3D Scopes Shaders mod. We are all waiting for the code to be fixed tbh. With this fixed, this will be a next level thing when it comes to sniping and using Scopes vs Red Dots.

It isn't compatible with EFP, especially not this version without GAMMA's weapons (or whichever mod these guns are from) installed. S3DS itself is somewhat compatible, but requires changes to positioning, and Blindside's reanimation pack makes L85's CTD on equipping, requiring different models to be used. My reposition mod has a fix and is built for using S3DS with EFP, but it's very stylistically different from most reposition mods and affects quite a few non-S3DS weapons.
Im using this without gamma because i have alot of the same weaponry installed, so far, so good, just had to use the hud editor for a few things (absolutely sure there are more complications coming) but it looks great and expands the selection decently.

Этот мод хуже чем 2D scopes, тут больше минусов, во-первых сами прицелы тут меньше, а область приближения огромная, во-вторых в прицелах нет теней и травы, лучше нарисованные и красивые прицелы, но зато там нет этих косяков а суть та же, чем такое безобразие недоработанное, вы соедините эти моды, пусть в прицеле область изображения появляется из 2D прицелов, там оно более качественное.
Yes these limits are known. The current way 2d scopes is implemented is a skill issue, however. Every scope has almost the same sight picture and radius. There's no balance to them.
Dunno why this guy is hating on 3Dss. No one is forcing you to use them. Don't worry your pretty little head though, things are being worked on.

Does this need a new game? because after the new update, none of the scopes actually working... it's blank, the 3d lenses are not attached
