Starship Command is a persistent-world, massively single-player, real-time tactical starship simulator wrapped in an AI-driven 4X game. Starting with a lowly shuttle, you will trade and battle your way to victory, amassing a gigantic fleet customized to your liking!
We mean when you start Starship Command the first time, it will generate a galaxy with hundreds of sectors, each with their own planets and economies, then populate the galaxy with seven AI-controlled empires that will attempt to conquer every sector. The galaxy persists through every captain you play as. And you can swap between multiple captains and play both sides of a conflict.
Take command of a starship! (or a fleet of starships). Build a fortune by trading commodities, completing missions, collecting taxes from sectors you personally have colonized and battle the other empires for glory!
It's been a long road from the first beta build to the gold release of 1.0, a lot longer than I anticipated.
Many, many improvements were added along with major new features. This newest build contains a few small bug fixes and actual composed music!

Hello evg, I was just playing this game and I have to say, it's a spectacular game that really brings back the feelings I've had while playing through the X Universe.
I am having a problem, though. Every time I play and I encounter a warning on the bottom right, the game crashes right away, usually without any warning. Is there something I need to do to fix this or do you need my patience?

I'm using a Sony Xperia Z1 so I'm playing this through the app.
Holy cow the changes are fantastic. The game works, makes sense and is a that level of fun and interesting I've been looking for. Do you plan to expand on what is here now or just improve the coding, balancing and such?
That's great to hear! Yes there are plans to expand with more features like space monsters and away missions. But the current emphasis is on getting what's here polished, for the release date.
Love the idea so far of this! I hope come June to see a great product! (And also maybe a demo because I'd like to see some of the changes from beta to release before I slap my dollahs down.)
