Rabid's Crap is back with a vengeance. Special changes abound for the 50th edition! Footstep sounds for all monsters, modified maps, new MP40 sprites, fog is back and relighting is in for some reflective floors. Options have been tweaked to make fog, DarkDoomZ and relighting all play nice together, Legacy light mode has been forced, and Tilt++ options have been optimized as well (though you can still go into options and change all of these). This is the culmination of all Rabid's Craps so far. All changes from prior versions, plus futher map modifications, a better MP40, footstep sounds for monsters, reflective floors and the return of fog.

a very serious graphical glitch Imgbox.com impossible to play no matter what episode you choose. GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 12Gb and no matter what iwad u choose too it still happens after new game start using latest GZDoom 4.12.1

It's going to be hard to diagnose since I'm using the same version of GZDoom and this doesn't happen to me. What error messages show up in the console? Any that might be relevant?

does latest gzdoom even have load console? it must be hidden somehow cz when i load it now no console shown just few seconds and i am ingame, then i choose for example ultimate doom episode it can load in a way i shown before or it may just freeze until i forcibly quit it with alt+f4 2 times and can't find any log files either in game folder

found the problem it was vulkan renderer switched to opengl and it worked

I spoke too soon--I'm not quite up to that same version of GZDoom. But I guess it doesn't matter. I wonder why my mod is incompatible with Vulkan.

GZDoom should always have a load console. What would we do without it? I guess I should upgrade and find out.

i spoke too soon too now it freezes with opengl on e1m2 when i open the door to secret #2 where megasphere and chaingun are and what gzdoom are u on then? maybe i should check it out with that one

Thanks for the PM. For those following the public discussion, it's tested and working on versions of GZDoom up to 4-11-3a. I don't know what problem has been introduced by new versions, and would love it if someone who's an actual programmer wants to investigate. Strange things are happening with GZDoom.
