Demo 8 commentsА first public glimpse of what I'm doing. Still, there is a lot of work to be done in the future
After quake2xp developer added PBR materials support to quake2 I've decided to try out my shy skills and make a retexture. Yes, this is a hard work, but I hope that one day Q2 will shine once again with my (or someone's else) phisically correct materials. The plan is to remake all textures and make them as close as possible to original ones, but much better =)

This is amazing texture work. Do you plan to continue this project?
Some day probably... No free time at all right now... At least I can share what I have to someone to continue with.
Any progress on this?
"Replace the original .tga files with the ones from this archive." - And where are the original .tga files in the Q2xp-directory?

Looks nice for what it is, still I prefer flat proper ai upscaled textures, because this is looks too wet and shiny. Good job though!
